The occupational therapy service for children supports the development of skills necessary to participate in daily activities independently and successfully. It is ideal for children facing challenges in areas such as motor development, coordination, self-care, social skills, attention, or sensory processing, often linked to conditions like autism spectrum disorders (ASD), ADHD, physical disabilities, developmental delays, or learning disorders.
Following an individualised assessment, our occupational therapist identifies the child’s support needs in areas such as play, school tasks, self-care activities (e.g., dressing, eating, personal hygiene), or social interaction. The treatment involves therapeutic and play-based activities designed to improve fine and gross motor skills, emotional regulation, motor planning, and sensory integration, all in a safe and enjoyable setting.
The goal of pediatric occupational therapy is to promote the child’s independence and confidence, enabling full participation in daily life at home, school, and within the community. Additionally, the service provides guidance and support to parents and caregivers, equipping them with tools to foster the child’s development in everyday situations.
This service is also available for adults.
