The neuropsychology service for children and adolescents is specifically designed for those experiencing attention, memory, language, learning, emotional regulation issues, or who have conditions like brain injuries, genetic disorders, epilepsy, ADHD, autism, or dyslexia.
Through neuropsychological assessments, we examine cognitive functions such as attention, memory, perception, language, and executive functions (planning, impulse control, decision-making). Using this information, our neuropsychologist develops a personalized intervention plan that may include cognitive rehabilitation strategies, techniques to improve behaviour and academic performance, and guidance for parents and educators.
The aim of child neuropsychology is to optimize the child’s cognitive and emotional development, improve their adaptation to school and family environments, and maximise their potential to face learning and everyday challenges. A continuous follow-up ensures treatment is adjusted to the child’s evolving needs, working collaboratively with other professionals and the family for an integrated and effective approach.
This service is also available for adults.
