Elizabeth Acosta Elizabeth Acosta
Director and Administrator of the Neurofamily Therapy Centre. Licensed Psychologist, Member No. T-2388, COP Santa Cruz de Tenerife.
Dr Acosta holds a PhD in Clinical Psychology from Rutgers University, New Jersey, USA, and is a certified healthcare professional with more than 20 years of experience in psychological intervention for adults. She is trained in various approaches, including cognitive behavioural therapy, systemic therapy, psychodynamic therapy, and gestalt therapy, with an integrative and humanistic perspective. Passionate about psychology and dedicated to helping individuals seeking assistance, support, or guidance, she established Neurofamily to integrate the knowledge, training, and strengths of an interdisciplinary professional team.

Paula Escuder Paula Escuder
General Health Psychologist and Neuropsychologist, Member No. T-03796, COP Santa Cruz de Tenerife.
Paula Escuder Zuil Registered Psychologist, No. T-03796, COP of Santa Cruz de Tenerife Paula is a general health psychologist and psychotherapist. She graduated in Psychology from the University of La Laguna and holds a postgraduate degree in General Health Psychology from the European University of the Canary Islands. She specialises in child and adolescent psychotherapy, addictions, neurodevelopmental disorders, family therapy, respectful parenting, and child and adolescent trauma. She is trained in clinical psychology with the Persever Academy for the study of PIR and humanistic therapies, and the Canarian Institute of Psychotherapy. She has training and experience in third-generation techniques (e.g., mindfulness), gender violence, person-centred care, and educational psychology.

Her professional career began in the guidance department of a school, working with students with special educational needs and their families and teachers, conducting psychological assessments, psychopedagogical reports, classroom interventions, family and parenting interventions, and group workshops. She has also worked in multidisciplinary clinics dealing with neurodevelopmental and childhood behavioural issues, as well as with Acquired Brain Injury in adults. Over the past year, she has balanced private practice with community care at various organisations (Mundo Nuevo, ACUFADE, San Miguel Adicciones). She is currently focused on psychotherapy in private practice serving populations at two locations: El Médano and Santa Cruz. Additionally, she volunteers conducting workshops on mindfulness, self-care, and relaxation techniques at the UAD of La Laguna of the San Miguel Youth Cooperation Association, serving addiction care in the Canary Health Service.

Laura Mesa Laura Mesa
General Health Psychologist and Neuropsychologist, Member No. T-3603, COP Santa Cruz de Tenerife.
Laura trained at the Universidad de La Laguna, Universidad Europea de Canarias, and Universidad Internacional de Valencia. She achieved second place nationally in the International Excellence in Psychology Research Awards, representing UEC with her Master’s dissertation. Although she has experience in healthcare psychology with both children and adults, Laura’s passion lies in neuropsychology and her fascination with brain function and its associated pathologies.

Elena Tarquis Elena Tarquis
Licensed Psychologist, Member No. T-4116, COP Santa Cruz de Tenerife.
Specialising in child and adolescent psychology, Elena has extensive training and experience in treating behavioural problems, screen addiction, neurodiversity, anxiety, phobias, and emotional regulation in children and adolescents. She applies personalised therapeutic approaches to create a safe and trusting environment where young clients can explore and understand their emotions, behaviours, and challenges. Elena works closely with families to promote the emotional well-being and holistic development of children and adolescents.

Selene Morales Selene Morales
Licensed Speech Therapist, Member No. 38/0206, COLC.
Selene graduated in Speech Therapy from the Universidad de La Laguna and has eight years of professional experience in both healthcare and education. She specialises in cognitive and language impairments in older adults and children with special needs, such as autism spectrum disorder (ASD). She also has training in aesthetic phonology, dry needling, cupping therapy, TMJ care, and lymphatic drainage.
Rebeca Rebeca Entero Burriel
Teacher (Pre-k, Primary and secondary).
Graduate in Early Childhood Education with a specialisation in Therapeutic Pedagogy from Gredos San Diege Las Rozas in Madrid and a Master’s degree from Universidad Internacional de Valencia in Teacher Training, specialising in Educational Guidance. Experience and dedication in providing personalised attention to educational needs, promoting the holistic development of children, and ensuring inclusive and tailored environments for each individual. Her training focuses on pedagogical strategies designed to address educational diversity, with the aim of creating learning environments where every child can reach their full potential, develop fully, and grow in an atmosphere that prioritises their emotional well-being.

Ana Navarro Ana Navarro
Licensed Occupational Therapist, Member No. 4680189, COPTOCA.
Ana specialises in treating functional diversity in children, with experience in both Spain and Australia. Her work focuses on delivering effective, personalised treatments supported by a Master’s degree and additional training in areas such as feeding difficulties, pre-writing, and handwriting. Her dedication and enthusiasm make therapy sessions engaging and fun, ensuring children’s maximum involvement and achieving the best therapeutic outcomes. Ana is currently pursuing international certification in Sensory Integration, enabling her to provide a comprehensive approach to her clinical practice.
Daniela Hurtado Daniela Hurtado
Speech Therapist and Early Intervention Specialist.
Daniela graduated in Speech Therapy from the Universidad de La Laguna. Caring and dedicated, she has a passion for working with children. She is experienced in diagnosing and treating autism spectrum disorders, early intervention, and sensory stimulation. Her commitment to children’s development ensures high-quality, empathetic care.

Dra. Marina Salomone Dr. Marina Salomone
Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist Member No. 38/6467.
Dr Salomone graduated in Medicine from the University of La Laguna (2008) and is a Specialist in Psychiatry and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. She completed her psychiatric residency (MIR) at the Nuestra Señora de la Candelaria University Hospital (Tenerife) and the Niño Jesús University Hospital (Madrid), specialising in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and Eating Disorders. Currently, she serves as the Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist and Coordinator of the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Unit in Arona Adeje, a role she has held since 2012. She has also collaborated with other hospitals and clinics to support children and adolescents with Eating Disorders and psychopathology.

Beyond her MIR training, Dr Salomone has pursued additional certifications, expert courses, and national master’s programmes in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, covering Neurodevelopmental Disorders (ASD, ADHD, Tics), Early Intervention, Eating Disorders, Affective-Emotional and Behavioural Disorders, Personality Disorders, and Childhood and Adolescent Psychosis.
Nazaret González Nazaret González

Nazaret is a Health and Forensic Psychologist and Criminologist with experience in assessment, diagnosis, and intervention in healthcare, neuropsych pedagogical, and forensic settings. She specialises in gender-based violence, special educational needs, and early intervention. Her approach is grounded in cognitive-behavioural and contextual therapies, ensuring a scientifically rigorous and comprehensive intervention.

Gabriella Auriemma is a psychologist and Jungian psychotherapist, licensed and registered at the Illustrious College of Psychology of Santa Cruz de Tenerife with license number T2198. Silvana Vanina Silvana Vanina

Silvana Vanina completed her degree in psychology at the Argentine Catholic University, Faculty of Humanities Teresa de Ávila. She received her professional license, number T-04522, from the Illustrious Official College of Psychology of Santa Cruz de Tenerife. She undertook specialist training in crisis intervention psychology from Euroinnova Business School, Spain. Silvana has extensive clinical and postgraduate training and experience in institutions, interdisciplinary teams, and private practice. In practice, she uses tools and techniques that will enable you to identify the roots of your problems, alleviate discomfort, and achieve greater emotional balance. Her approach is focused on helping you manage and uncover emotional challenges that impact your wellbeing. Ana I. Cabezuelo Ana I. Cabezuelo

With nearly 20 years of experience, Ana began her career in Madrid, where she developed an interest in treating the body as a whole rather than focusing solely on symptoms. This led her to complete five years of training in Osteopathy.

Living in a fast-paced city like Madrid inspired her to specialise in cranial and jaw treatments, targeting migraines and bruxism. As an osteopath, she emphasises posture re-education to ensure the body functions harmoniously, preventing future issues. Ana works with a wide range of conditions, including trauma-related pain (spine and joints) and sports injuries. Her expertise includes ultrasound diagnostics and postural re-education.

Sofía is a Dietitian-Nutritionist passionate about helping people improve their health and relationship with food through nutritional education and the development of healthy habits. She creates personalised nutritional plans tailored to individual needs, aiming to enhance quality of life, body composition, and prevent diet-related illnesses. Her specialisations include: Nutritional Education, Eating Disorders, Overweight and Obesity, Vegetarian/Vegan Diets, Sports Nutrition, and Metabolic Syndrome .
